Hilton’s New Year’s Eve 2018/2019

The celebrations of New Year’s Eve at the Hilton hotel are always a highly sophisticated and varied spectacle. And every year we can persuade ourselves that the show can be even more outstanding and the technological solution that bit more challenging.

In 2018, the most famous Broadway musical shows were the main theme. You can see such classics as Sister Act, Grease, The Phantom of the Opera and many others. The main hotel lobby came to life with some excellent dance and vocal performances, with an unforgettable atmosphere provided by AV Media’s solutions, such as a large curved LED wall, 200 Robe lights, tuned sound system and specially reinforced stage.

Hilton Prague’s award-winning team of chefs prepared five types of dinners to match the musical theme of the evening. In the musical style of Chicago, the Cloud 9 Sky Bar & Lounge offered the most exclusive program featuring private fireworks, gourmet dinners and stylish music.

AV MEDIA EVENTS, in collaboration with RENTAL PRO, accepted the challenge in the form of a giant stage which carries a record-breaking 27 tons of technologies and decorations so that it had to be reinforced with a LIBERA structure on a 14-leg MAXITOWER extending to the hotel’s underground garage. The reinforcing structure itself weighed around four tons and three static reviews had to be carried out and round-stamped. The construction of such a demanding structure took our technicians two days. The 120 m2 of large Gloshine LED wall also added to the stage‘s weight.
